Remember the El Camino

I would love to find a 72 73 el Camino. My brother had a ss with a built 350 in it. It was a blast to drive. It ladder bars so it rode rough. But one of the super cool things he did to it was that he put a77 trans am dash in it. The car was a canary yellow with black deck stripes.

Man I miss that car.... truck?

Ladder bars are horrible, they only work because they bind everything up.

Better off running the correct length slapper bars, at least they don't interfere with normal suspension action.

I had a 74 Ranchero I bought in 76 and kept a couple of years. It was a very well built and comfortable vehicle with a nice interior. Sold it when I bought a 78 Jeep CJ 5.
