I have something..... when I all the work done on my 06 gmc they had the fenders and iner fenders off exposing my fuse box under the hood...

Well low and behold chipmunks chewed on the wires.... I had them spliced back together.

But my solution for future rodents invading my truck is.... I went to Lowe's and bought mice and rodent repellent in a aerosol...

So now I can spray a repellent all over the wires with no harm to them.

Time will tell if it works.

I might have to give that a try. I just had a red squirrel going into my engine compartment and tearing up the hood liner for stuff to pad his nest, the little bastard.
