I have done some research..... I have found this product and used it....
PFC
i like it better than fluid film..... seems thicker.... more wax in it.... when it dries over time it leaves a waxy film where as fluid film cracks.
I realize some of you don't have to worry about corrosion... but...
Found a nice used one..... but I can get a new one.... and a 1 ton cheaper....

With out leather and diesel.... of course....
I'm looking at a new truck myself..... Chevy 2500 LT with a gas engine. The diesel is way over priced. $20000 dollars extra..... they can keep them for that price.... I am considering the cab and chassis 5500.... surprisingly not much different in price just have to put a dump box or flat bed on...
I have looked.... just not ready to spend as much as their asking for them gold plated trucks.
I don't know what you're looking for..... but I've been a gmc guy for a long time. I won't consider a ford after the last two vehicles I had. Customer service was horrible...... dealership was...
Well it was a bad wheel bearing just as I suspected.... part cost 310 dollars..... compare to my half ton.... under 100 dollars.
Nothing is cheap parts wise for that 3/4 ton.
Well I sent my truck to the shop today. I have a bad abs sensor in one of the front hubs. Normally my code would tell me what location the code is at. Not this time so the shop has it.
Whenever I get a bad sensor the wheel bearing is soon to fail.
I'll find out tomorrow.
I would love to find a 72 73 el Camino. My brother had a ss with a built 350 in it. It was a blast to drive. It ladder bars so it rode rough. But one of the super cool things he did to it was that he put a77 trans am dash in it. The car was a canary yellow with black deck stripes.
Man I miss...
After replacing the bed on my 06.... I'm considering one. I do use the bed in my trucks. I'm afraid that firewood will tear it up.... not really worried about dents. Spray in bed Liner will probably be the best solution.
